The United States of America (commonly referred to as the United States, the USA) is a federal constitutional republic comprising fifty states and a federal district. The country is situated mostly in central North America, lie between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The state of Alaska is in the northwest of the continent, with Canada to its east. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific. At more than 9.6 million km2 (3.79 million square miles) and with about 306 million people, the United States is the third most populous nation in the world.   The United States is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations due to large-scale of immigrations from many countries.  White Americans are the largest racial group while African Americans and Asian Americans are the nation’s largest and second largest racial minority.  English is the de facto national language. Although there is no official language at the federal level, some laws—such as U.S. naturalization requirements—standardize English.  Other languages spoken by more than a million of the population include Spanish, Chinese, French, Tagalog, Vietnamese and German.  As the world's most important education hub, the United States attracts many students from all over the world come to study each year.
 
As the sole superpower in the world, the economy, culture, technology and military of the United States enormously influence the world throughout the entire 20th century.  The U.S. economy is the largest and most important in the world.  The United States is one of the world’s most prosperous and economically developed country.  It maintains a high quality standard of living.  The GDP per capita is more than 40,000 U.S. dollars.  The U.S. economy is highly developed, many global currencies pegged to the U.S. dollars and the U.S. stock market is considered an indicator of the world economy.  The Largest trading partners of the United States are Canada (19%), China (12%), Mexico (11%) and Japan (8%).   There are about 1.1 billion U.S. dollars of products passing through the US-Canada border every day.  There are over one million immigrants become American citizens every year making it the most popular emigration destination.

1.Investment
 
In this category, investors are required to invest at least $1,000,000 U.S. dollars or $500,000 U.S. dollars (in a “targeted employment area”) into a new commercial enterprise that they have established. The new commercial enterprise can be established by creating an original business or purchasing an existing business and simultaneously or subsequently restructuring or reorganizing the business such that a new commercial enterprise results.  The investment must create full-time employment for not fewer than 10 qualified individuals; or maintain the number of existing employees at no less than the pre-investment level for a period of at least two years, where the capital investment is being made in a "troubled business.
 
2.Priority workers
 
‧Foreign nationals of extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics
‧Foreign national that are outstanding professors or researchers, managers and executives subject to international transfer to the United States
 
3.Professionals
 
‧Foreign nationals of exceptional ability in the sciences, arts or business
‧Foreign nationals that are advanced degree professionals
 
4.Skilled workers
 
‧Foreign national professionals with bachelor's degrees (not qualifying for a higher preference category)
‧Foreign national skilled workers (minimum two years training and experience)

6.Family Member
 
The relatives which may be sponsored as an immigrant vary depending on whether the sponsor is a U.S. Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Married son or daughter of any age
Brother or sister, if the sponsor is at least 21 years old, or
